Great loves too must be endured.

My subscriptions to Match.com and eHarmony.com have expired and I have jumped through the many hoops necessary to ensure that they will not be automatically renewed.
JDate.com is for one month and one month only.
And then I will stop. By the end of August, not only will I have achieved born-again virginity, but I will also be an expert on the tragedy and comedy of online dating.
And then?
Not sure. I feel as though I am about to graduate from some as yet unknown school with a useless degree.
Perhaps I will create and print and display some sort of diploma on my wall.

My last post was meant for this topic.
Be positive – like attracts like! One cannot put a time deadline on something as intangible as online dating. This would create resistance. Just my few cents worth.
What exactly does Mr. Scooper scoop? Just curious, but I have a strong suspicion I already know.
Two things: regarding your expertise of online dating...have you read a book about men? You might think about getting around to that before you get off calling yourself an expert.
Also, I think it's a great idea to create and print a diploma for your useless degree, frame it and hang it on your wall. Like that one episode of the Young Ones, you can then in a pinch take it off the wall, bake it and eat it.
It's Mrs. Cooper, who is fabulous!
And HAHAHAHA! Yes, I will read a book about men. After all, that is the best way to develop expertise on any subject. When I am a born-again virgin, I plan on having sex, wowing him with my sexual prowess, and claiming that I learned it all from books.
(I think I got that last line from MomVee. Thanks, MomVee!)
Thanks : ) Likewise
My first post was nothing uniquely new. I based it on quantum theory.
What’s with the book about men? Forget it. Again, for amusement, try “Sacred Sexuality” an audio dialogue between Deepak Chopra and a professor.
The "book about men" was a reference to an inside joke... I had told "Anonymous" that a very well-meaning, lovely woman lectured me on how my time is running out and that I should have a man in my life, and that perhaps I should read a book about men to improve my understanding.
